    Following LucasArts and Activision-Vivendi, Wolfenstein and Doom creators id have dropped their membership in the ESA. GamePolitics confirmed the news, but no reason was stated for their departure.     id Software has officially begun production on Doom 4, according to a report today on Shacknews.
    “Doom is part of the id Software DNA and demands the greatest talent and brightest minds in the industry to bring the next installment of our flagship franchise to Earth,” said id Software CEO Todd Hollenshead.
