Apparently, people don’t like paying for Internet gaming on the PC. Case in point: Games for Windows Live. As of right now, the service will cost you nothing. Previously, PC owners handed over Microsoft $50 for the use of the service, which also covered the Xbox 360 as well in the same price.

Civilization IV is about to get another addition to the series, as 2K Games announced Civilization IV: Colonization this afternoon. A re-imagining of the 1994 game of the same name, Colonization is being made from the ground up with the Civ IV engine and will be a Games For Windows exclusive.
