EA and Crytek announced this morning that Crysis Warhead will ship to stores in North America on September 16. The game, which is a parallel story to the events of the first Crysis, will retail for $29.99 and also inculde a new multiplayer set in the form of Crysis Wars.

Well, that didn’t take long. A day after launching the game’s teaser site, Electronic Arts and Crytek confirmed that Crysis Warhead will make its way exclusively to the PC this fall.
For Warhead, players will take control of ‘Psycho’ (Sergeant Sykes) and play a parallel story that takes place during the events of the original game. [...]

Closing in on nine months since the original release of Crysis on the PC back in November, it appears that Crytek is getting ready to release some information on a new title in the series.
