BBFC Director David Cooke issued a statement today, responding to game publishers who have criticized a number of items proposed in the organization’s Byron Report. As per the Byron report, UK games could possibly carry two separate ratings. Any game rated 12+ by PEGI is suggested to be evaluated by the BBFC as well, and the cost of doing so could trickle down the consumer according to Microsoft’s Neil Thompson:
