Looking forward to the New Xbox Experience in November? Don’t have a hard drive for your 360? Oh, then you might have a problem.
It seems the update requires too much space for systems that don’t have the almost necessary accessory, and Microsoft is looking into options to help you out. As Major Nelson stated:
“To help ensure all Xbox LIVE members are able to download the New Xbox Experience and enjoy its new features, Microsoft will be offering storage solutions to the Xbox LIVE community. We are not sharing details of this offering yet.”
So, they’re going to send out memory cards to people? What else could they possibly do? The file will supposedly be 128MB, so one would assume that’s what they’ll be sending out. That, or you could just snag a used 20GB hard drive online for about $40.
