Konami seized an opportunity at the Tokyo Game Show to announce that a new chapter in the Castlevania series is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360, the first in the series for the latest generation of consoles (not including that fighting game “thing” coming on the Wii). Unfortunately, while they made the announcement, that’s about all they did.
Aside from a CGI based teaser trailer (provided after the jump), there’s nothing else to go on. Konami won’t even state if the game will be 2-D or 3-D, although we can all hope to finally see a 2-D based ‘Vania on home consoles. Can you imagine a game a classicly styled Castlevania that looks like the new King of Fighters?
