Since the PlayStation Store isn’t available on the PSP yet, hooking up your PSP to the PS3 isn’t anything new. However, with PSP Plus, it delivers more benefits. You’ll need a number of things to make this work.

First, you need Resistance Retribution when it launches. You’ll need to be able to hook up your PSP to your TV, and finally, a PS3 with a controller. With all of this up and running, you can actually use the PS3 controller to play the PSP exclusive Resistance Retribution with (*gasp*) dual analog sticks. So far, Retribution is the only game to support this feature.

Finally, if you add in Resistance 2 on the PS3 to this mix, you can gain extra powers in Retribution. You’ll gain the ability to breathe underwater, regenerate health, and have access to new weapons. Of course, all of this is optional and a long workaround for the lack of dual analog PSP controls, but it’s a starting point until the next PSP finally rolls around.
