Nintendo is preparing to add some notable upgrades to its DS handheld, according to reports from both Nikkei and Reuters.

Slated to launch by the end of the year in Japan, the new model of the system will reportedly feature a camera as well as the ability to play music. It will also feature more advanced wireless functions, a larger screen display, and be able to exchange data with the Wii’s SD Card slot.

The price for the machine is predicted to be below 20,000 yen ($189) in Japan, but keep in mind there’s been no official word from Nintendo at this point or a projected release date in North America.
