Nintendo’s mainstream popularity with the Wii got a little more attention last night, as it was featured during a segment of last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards. For the award for Outstanding Writing For a Variety, Music, or Comedy Program, the writers for Saturday Night Live took a unique approach for their appearance, using their Miis instead of their actual pictures. The video can be seen below.
The SNL crew didn’t win the award, though, as it went to the writers of The Colbert Report.
