The so called Halo “Mythic” update is coming on September 23, and it’s not all that mythical. The title update is pretty extensive, including revised maps on certain playlists (no shield doors on Epitaph? Ouch), redesigned Bungie.net stat tracking, and a new ranking system. Never fear, your old rank will stay right where it is.
Bungie warns that the first few days or so will be messed up in matchmaking, as some players won’t have the update for a variety of reasons. Bungie states it will be a “bit like bit like the end of Ghostbusters.” So all Halo 3 players will wonder why they are covered with goo?
