DICE has announced this morning that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of thier upcoming first-person action title, Mirror’s Edge, will be shipping to stores on November 11. In addition, a demo that feature’s the game prologue was also announced, and will be available for download on September 26.

“Mirror’s Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels,” says Owen O’Brien, Senior Producer, DICE. “We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay.”

Furthermore, if you preorder the game at select retailers a special code to unlock the demo’s Time Trial mode. No other details on the PC version of the game were revealed, other than notice that it will ship later in the winter.
