Well, everything has to start somewhere and sometime right, right? That somewhere is Japan and that time is now. The 360 has finally managed to win something in Japan, even if it was only for a week. Thanks ti the introduction of a lower price point and Square Enix RPG Infinite Undiscovery. The 360 pushed 28,681 consoles into Japanese homes, while the Wii ended up with 27,057 moved off of store shelves. While the 360 may be far behind in total sold, at least for one week, Japanese Microsoft execs can have a smile.
