Dean Takahashi, author of Opening the Xbox and The Xbox 360 Uncloaked, has written what could be the final chapter in the latter of the two books. In this six page piece for VentureBeat, Takahashi probes into what happened when the Xbox 360 launched, how defective they were, and what Microsoft wouldn’t tell us. Obviously unauthorized, there are a number fo quotes credited to anonymous sources, so while fanboys will immediately reject the piece, more level-headed gamers who know Takahashi’s work will know this is all undoubtedly true.
So, for all of us who have been through three Xbox 360s or more, this one is for you.
