Continuing with the Guitar Hero World Tour announcements this week, Activision named a few more acts this morning that will be on the game’s soundtrack.
This time around, Police frontman and bassist Sting joins the party, both as a playable character and with of his group’s best known songs “Demolition Man”. In additon, the popular alternative band Tool will contribute “Parabola” and “Schism” from their 2001 album Lateralus, and “Vicarious” from their 2006 album 10,000 Days.
Guitar Hero World Tour hits the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PlayStation 2 later this year. Sting also shot a promo video for the game, and it can be seen below.
