Gamers looking forward to EA’s upcoming survival horror title Dead Space got some good news today, as the company announced that the game will be shipping a week early. Originally slated to arrive on October 21, the game will now ship on October 14.

“The development team at EA Redwood Shores is getting into the Halloween spirit early this year so fans can celebrate with Dead Space without cutting into their trick or treat time.”

Now you’ve got a full week to get this in before the onslaught of Fable II, Fallout 3, LittleBigPlanet, and other titles hit stores on the 21st.
