Enjoying the addictive beat-em-up action of the near classic Castle Crashers? If not, it’s likely because you’re having trouble getting online, or you’re being booted from all of the matches you’ve attempted to get into. Never fear, as the word has made its way to developer The Behemoth and a patch is incoming. This was confirmed through a Joystiq interview with the group:
“Yeah, there are certain network settings where, if you’re in a very specific network environment, it won’t work with another person’s connection and that’s what’s happening. But that’s something we’re already addressing by working with Microsoft to get a patch out as fast as possible.”
Just for the record, aside from connection problems with a UK friend, I’ve had no problems playing whatsoever with local friends online. If it’s keeping you from buying the game, it seems like a “may nor may not have it” type of problem.
