The 2008 Games Convention in Leipzig isn’t officially slated to start until tomorrow, but as with any major gaming convention things start releasing a few days before. In this case, some new screenshots for Midway’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe have arrived, nine of them specifically.
In the shots, we get our first look at previously announced characters Green Lantern, Kitana, Joker, and Liu Kang, as well as an extended look at the Batcave. Out of all the shots shown, Green Lantern looks like he’s going to be a very interesting character to play as I initially thought. One comic book geek question for the Midway guys, though. Since the Green Lanterns can now use lethal force (i.e. kill) in the comics, why can’t they here? Inquiring minds wanna know. Check out the rest of the screens for yourself below.
