Sega’s iPhone version of Super Monkey Ball has sold 300,000 digital copies to users of Apple’s latest must have gadget. Doing that math, that’s $3 million since the game’s release for the downloadable software. President of Sega US Simon Jeffery makes a statement on the buisness potential in an interview with the Wall Street Journal:

“That’s a substantial business. It gives iPhone a justifiable claim to being a viable gaming platform.”
