Gamers who don’t want to wait for the WiiWare version of Eternity’s Child to come out can just head on over to their PCs, as the Steam version of the game launched earlier this morning. Sporting an all-hand drawn look that’s based on a fariy tale by Luc Benard, the Steam version of the game also features exclusive levels as well as the added bonus of high-definition resolutions.

There’s no official date on the release of the WiiWare version, but with this one out now it probably won’t be long. After playing this version for a little while, some may want to hold off for that one because of the controls. While it’s technically “gamepad compatible” the mapping’s a mess and you can only do so much with it if you’re not a keyboard and mouse person (like me).
