Said to replacing the aging 20GB model which has been on store shelves since launch, the latest Xbox 360 60GB version has been found already in stores. Never mind that it doesn’t actually have an official release date. Target and Wal-Mart have already begun putting the consoles out for sale.

Maybe this is Microsoft’s new marketing move with hardware. Don’t give dates, let the public sort it out, then release something official a few weeks later. That’s exactly what they did with the price drop too.
