Anxious sports gamers dying to get their hands on Madden NFL 09 won’t be waiting much longer, as a demo is on the way next week on August 1. Confirmed last night by Pasta Padre on his blog, the demo is already available for Xbox 360 owners upon the purchase of a new NFL DVD.
The demo itself will be unique, as it won’t feature the usual team vs. team gameplay normally associated with it. Instead it will feature the new virtual trainer, followed by one of the game’s “Madden Moments”, the Super Bowl. No teams were specified, but it’ll most likely be the new York Giants. It also won’t feature commentary due to demo size limits.
Madden NFL 09 will hit stores for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and a hundred of other systems on August 12.
