Sonic fans on the Wii will be getting two games in less than a year’s time, as Sega announced an all-new title this morning, Sonic and the Black Knight. Exclusive to Nintendo’s system, the game is being done by Sonic Team Japan and will throw their franchise hedgehog into the world of Arthurian legend to become a knight. And no, I didn’t make any of that up.
“After the success of Sonic and the Secret Rings we’re delighted to announce a second title in the Storybook Series,” said Gary Knight, European Marketing Director, SEGA Europe, “Following Sonic on his way to knighthood will excite players of all ages.”
Look out for Sonic and the Black Knight sometime during the spring of next year. More details on the game can be found below.
