NCAA Football 09 won’t be available until next week on July 15, but once it’s out a fully named roster file will be ready for download on the Xbox 360 version of the game. Confirming it tonight on his blog, Pasta Padre announced that a finished roster file is currently in his EA Locker and will be ready to go on the release date.
“So now for 360 gamers there is no waiting around after release for rosters to be completed and no wondering where to get them from. The first time you fire up the game you’ll be able to grab the complete named roster from my locker. Even if you’re one of the lucky ones who manage to find the game early!” - Pasta Padre
Unfortunately for PlayStation 3 owners the wait will be a bit longer, as the file isn’t yet available. The announcement of this now is also a very wise move, as it hopefully clears up confusion to some that these files are FREE while simultaneously killing the unethical business practices of one Brian Kaldenberg who has made it a habit of taking advantage of the situation.
To get the file when you get the game, simply search the EA Locker section of the game and search for GamerTag ‘pastapadre’ to download the file. To keep track of the PlayStation 3 roster developments, head here.
