THQ announced late last night that “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels and “The Game” Triple H will be gracing the cover of the upcoming WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. This marks Michaels’ first time on the cover of the game, and the fifth for Triple H.
“Triple H and Shawn Michaels have made headlines over the years when they unite as the infamous ‘D-Generation X’ tag team in WWE programming. We selected them for the cover as a means to celebrate the unprecedented level of tag team functionality we will deliver in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. Triple H, Michaels, John Cena, The Undertaker and all of the WWE roster will be arriving in all of their off-camera stealth attacking glory when the game ships this fall.
