Older Electronic Gaming Monthly readers will recall the magazine’s famous Sheng Long Street Fighter II joke from 1992, where players could supposedly unlock the master trainer of Ken and Ryu. It took a ridiculous set of circumstances to actually pull off, and while it’s completely untrue, players still claimed they saw him.
Legend’s never die however, and if a new promotional anime (seen above) is any indication, there’s a strong chance he’ll make an actual appearance in Street Fighter IV. It definitely looks the part, and the anime itself is fantastic to watch anyway even if it’s not him.
