Having just become the owner of a PS3, there was a reason I waited. It was actually Metal Gear, but the secondary reason was Little Big Planet. New details have emerged, including unspecified uses for the PlayStation Eye peripheral and voice chat. Media Molecule boss David Smith spoke with Eurogamer on the intriguing possibilities:
“There’s some more cool stuff about this that I’m not going to go into right now. We are using the camera for some of the creative features of the game. It’s a pretty powerful way of getting new content into the LBP world.”
Eurogamer is also reporting the game will run at 30FPS and be in 720p.
