Those of us who are moderate TV watchers have probably come across one of John McCain’s ads for his upcoming presidential run. Die-hard gamers likely picked up on the music, which happens to pulled from EA’s Medal of Honor: European Assault. The McCain campaign has done nothing wrong legally, but composer Christopher Lennertz posted a lengthy statement stating he is full support of Barak Obama and did not appreciate the gesture.

“While I do not control the ownership of this piece, I am extremely disappointed its placement in this commercial. I did not authorize the use and was not made aware of the situation… As an artist, business owner, and patriot, I proudly support Senator Barack Obama for the Presidency of the United States of America…

While I can appreciate his support for Obama, the music is no longer his if he sold the rights. Sorry Chris.
