Tomonobu Itagaki’s departure from Team Ninja and Tecmo got its fair share of headlines a few weeks back, and as of this morning, it looks like he won’t be the only one leaving the company soon.

According to a news article on 1UP.com yesterday, as many as three dozen Team Ninja employees are headed out the door. And not only are they leaving, they’re all serving Tecmo with class-action lawsuits.

Earlier this morning Kotaku followed up on the story, and confirmed that two employees filed a suit in Tokyo District Court on behalf of all 300 Tecmo employees. The suit, which is demanding 8.3 million yen ($77,000 USD) is claiming that they were illegally placed on a “flexible hours” work scheme and never paid for it.

Things aren’t looking too good for Tecmo right now, in any capacity. Not good at all. Stay tuned for more on this one.
