Scientists, if you can actually call them that after this study, spent hours tracking matches in Unreal Tournament 2004. As it turns out, it’s better to be on the red side. Red wins 55% of the time, beating out their blue counterparts on a majority basis. A Neuroscientist from Denmark tried to bring a reasoning to this:

“… most likely that the color red may act as a psychological distractor for men, possibly because men flush and turn red when they’re angry.”

Or maybe during the testing, the red team just won a few more games?
