Football fans waiting to get their fix on this year’s slate of games don’t have to wait much longer, as EA Sports will release a demo for NCAA Football 09 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 19.
As confirmed by Pasta Padre, the demo will feature a National Championship Rematch between the Ohio State Buckeyes and LSU Tigers. In addition, a mascot game between the Florida Gators and Texas Longhorns will be included. Both games will be set on the varsity difficulty with two minute quarters.
Demos can typically be a make or break thing for particular games, but being the first 2009 EA Sports football game out the door will give NCAA Football 09 a bit more attention. The PlayStation 3 version is set to be on par with the Xbox 360 version with 60 frames per second gameplay, so showing people this now will certainly help its cause.
