There’s going to be quite a bit of DLC coming Guitar Hero III’s way this month, as Activision announced that five new track packs will be arriving on the game throughout June.
The first of the five packs, the Motörhead pack, was released this morning, but details on another one of the packs was revealed as it will highlight three of the headline acts from the 2007 Isle of Wright Festival. The pack, which will release on June 12, will include the Kaiser Chief’s “I Predict a Riot”, The Sex Pistols’ live rendition of “Problems” (recorded during their 30th anniversary tour stop at Brixton Academy in London), and Kasabian’s “Shoot the Runner”. All are master recordings.
Info on the other three packs hasn’t been released, but one of them is most likely a pack that will coincide with Coldplay’s June 17 release of Viva La Vida, as revealed last week.
