Two notable stars joined the cast of Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time today, as Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina have both joined the cast according to Variety.
Molina, who is most widely known for his role as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2, will play the role of Sheik Amar, mentor of the prince (being played by Jake Gyllenhaal). Kingsley’s role (who I don’t doubt would make a great Spidey villain himself) is unknown at this point.
Production on the film will begin in July.
