Aerosmith’s not going to be the only band with their own Guitar Hero game if Lars Ulrich’s got anything to say about it.
According to a report posted earlier today by GameSpot, a recent SEC filing over the weekend by Activision has confirmed that Metallica will be the next band in line to highlight a Guitar Hero title, as Guitar Hero: Metallica will be on the way sometime next year.
“In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms,” - Activision via SEC filing
What also makes this story more interesting is the fact that this will arrive after Guitar Hero: World Tour ships, making all of the sections (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) available, and putting it on par with Harmonix and MTV’s Rock Band.
