Prolific developer Sid Meier, the man behind hits like Civilization, The Sims, and Pirates!, is now a world record holder. Meier will be entered into the record books in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2008. Said Meier on his accomplishment:
“I’m fortunate to be able to do what I love and am grateful for all of the wonderful recognition I’ve received over the years. It is every kid’s dream to make it into the Guinness World Records and I’m thrilled to be a part of the prestigious book.”
Meier is currently behind Civilization Revolution due out for Xbox 360, PS3, and DS on July 8th.
