Coldplay’s new single Violet Hill will be making its way to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock next month, according to a report on Entertainment Weekly.
“[‘Violet Hill’] is the first Coldplay song to be put on ‘Guitar Hero,’” Martin bragged to EW on a recent visit to the band’s London studio. And unlike much of their lulling repertoire, he cracks, “It’s not [all] about the piano s—.”
The track is off of the bands upcoming album Viva La Vida, will be a part of the band’s marketing campaign to promote it. Whether Violet Hill will be a part of a multi-track pack like Guitar Hero III’s previous DLC efforts are yet to be known.
