As many sports gaming fan already knows, Madden NFL 09 marks the 20th anniversary of EA Sports’ acclaimed football title. While the series has been going through the motions over the last few years, the crew down at Tiburon looks like they’re finally giving the game a much needed shot in the arm as Madden NFL 09 prepares to arrive this August.
Last night, EA Sports released a video (shown above) comparing last year’s version and 09 side-by-side, and at this point it’s looking significantly better. Here’s hoping the final product meets the already high expectations.
