Giving the general gaming public access to their press events isn’t something new, but is still quite rare nowadays. For the last few years, the only companies that have done so are first-party publishers(Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony), and even then it’s usually only during E3.
Today a third-party is joining the group, however, as Ubisoft announced that its opening conference for their Ubidays 2008 press event will be broadcast live for everyone to see on Wednesday, May 28 at their online media portal, www.uplay.com. In addition, the conference will be dubbed simultaneously in four languages: French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
All videos for games shown at the event will also be displayed on the site the next day, along with interviews that will be exclusive for the site.
The press conference kicks off at 7 p.m. Paris time. Confused about when it starts on your side of the coast? Check the jump for correct coastal times for your side of the globe.
