After multiple high profile titles were struggling to fit within the 150MB cap (notably Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II HD Remix), Microsoft has made official that it will raise the limit to 350MB. David Edery, Portfolio Planner for the Live Arcade, said this on the change in an interview with GameIndustry.biz:

“Yeah, it’s a steady progress. We’ve been listening to our partners, listening to our customers to try and get a feel for what’s right…”

Edery also also hinted that more multiple releases per week would be on the horizon, though didn’t specify a time.

“You will see an increasing number of weeks with more than one game released, there’s no question about that.”
