With the upcoming releases of Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter II HD Remix, Capcom is definitely getting back into the fighting game arena in a big way this year. As if that could get better, it looks like a new VS. game is coming as well, as the latest issue of Famitsu unveiled the first information on Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes.
Known for a number of anime franchises over the years such as Speed Racer, Gatchaman, Samurai Pizza Cats, and Neon Genesis Evangelion, the reknowned production company will clash with the Capcom universe of characters (Ryu and Chun-Li are the only confirmed characters so far) in the traditional 2 on 2 tag team battles, all done in with 2D sprites.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes heads to Japanese arcades this summer, with no word on an American release so far.
