After extensive delays, a verdict in the Jack Thompson Bar Trial has been reached. Judge Dava Tunis has found the infamous anti-video game attorney guilty on numerous charges which include (amongst others):
-Making statements that the lawyer knows to be false or with reckless disregard as to the truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge
-Using means that have no purpose other than to embarrass, delay or burden a third person
-Knowingly making a false statement of material fact or law to a tribunal
A disciplinary hearing is now set for June 4th, with the full report from the Supreme Court due in September. Thompson himself has filed federal lawsuits against the Florida Supreme Court in relation to the charges.
