BlizzCon will return to the Anaheim Convention Center this October 10-11, according to a press release issued today by Blizzard Entertainment. Known across the globe for bringing online communites together, BlizzCon 2008 will also be bigger to accomodate demand, expanding to three halls from the previous year’s two.

“Whenever we’ve been able to meet and interact with Blizzard gamers from around the world, it’s been a great experience for us,” stated Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to seeing even more of our players at this year’s BlizzCon and delivering another entertaining and informative event for them.”

Tickets will sell for $100 per person, with more details on the event as it approaches.
